The Individual Championships
Was held on Saturday 25th May on the technically challenging Craigengillan Estate near Loch Doon. This was last used for the Scottish Championships in 2007 but the map has been extended and updated this year. Car parking, assembly and finish will be in the same field and there will be 2 starts, both less than 1 km away from assembly (final details depend on planning). Dogs are now allowed in the assembly area but MUST be kept on a lead. Keep them away from nearby fields as there are sheep and lambs in them. Entry cost will be £15.00 for seniors, £6.00 for juniors. Entry on the day will be available for most classes depending on map availability.
There will be a string course.

This was on Sunday 26th May at Maxwelton Estate near Moniaive, Dumfriesshire. The competition area consisted of an interesting mixture of open land and mixed woodland with good contour, rock and water features and few paths and tracks.
Assembly and relay change-over area will be on a compact area of open hill approximately 800m from the parking area. Included in the entry fee is a parking charge which the estate will be donating to a medical research charity. Dogs are allowed in the parking area and at assembly but must be on leads at all times. Team entries for Senior and Junior teams will be £36 and £18 respectively.
There was a string course.
Full Relay details PDF updated 17th May (correcting a couple of minor typos and there is a note added that there must be no overnight parking in the car park, the assembly layout diagram is a bit clearer and information on the caterer's fare has been added.)

Other things to do
The weekend coincides with the Spring Fling weekend covering most of southern Scotland, but with many attractions in and around the area of the events.
It also offers other activity events if people have energy left between competitions
