2008 Trophies

We are anxious to avoid the situation where a number of Scottish Championship trophies cannot be presented because they have not been returned by the previous winners. 2008 individual winners and 2008 relay winners. Could any club secretaries or team captains who have not yet reminded winners from their club please chase them up. If you won last year but never received the trophy, please e-mail Lesley Campbell, Day organiser, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) . If you know the name of the guilty person who never returned it from 2007 she would be glad to know so that she can try to get it returned.

Rannoch Forest map

Rannoch is a superb area, a very large and mostly runnable plantation forest with vague contoury bits, detailed contoury bits and patches of complex vegetation detail. It is largely a gentle north-facing slope, aside from a whacking great river gorge across the middle which should make for some interesting route choices.
